All the participants were divided into the groups of 5, each with a coach.
Each of the team had an awesome idea to create a Rails App. Our idea was to create a unique ID for the given URL and then based on that ID, redirect to the URL. We also learnt how to create landing page for our app and then jump to our app.
We also went deep into the CRUD and studied the relationships between the different models, the Embedded Ruby concept for Views, the importance of controllers in the application stack, controller actions and routing.
Lightning talks were about how to use Chrome console to play around with CSS and JS , how to become a Rubyist by playing RubyWarrior, what is HTTParty and more about Pragmatic programming.
